State

  • 32 teams qualify for in the State championship tournament (rankings will be determined via this formula: each division I vicotry in the regular season will equal 1 point, each Division II victory is worth 0.8 and each Division III vixtory 0.6 with the Division II and III teams with the most points will receive an extra point each)
  • In the first round: No. 1 plays No. 32, No. 2 plays No. 31, No. 3 plays No. 30, No. 4 plays No. 29, No. 5 plays No. 28, No. 6 plays No. 27, No. 7 plays No. 26, No. 8 plays No. 25, No. 9 plays No. 24, No. 10 plays No. 23, No. 11 plays No. 22, No. 12 plays No. 21, No. 13 plays No. 20, No. 14 plays No. 19, No. 15 plays No. 18, and No. 16 plays No. 17
  • In the sweet 16 the winner of the 1-32 game plays the winner of the 16-17 game, the winner of the 2-31 game plays the winner of the 15-18 game, the winner of the 3-30 game plays the winner of the 14-19 game, the winner of the 4-29 game plays the winner of the 13-20 game, the winner of the 5-28 game plays the winner of the 12-21 game, the winner of the 6-27 game plays the winner of the 11-22 game, the winner of the 7-26 game plays the winner of the 10-23 game, and the winner of the 8-25 game plays the winner of the 9-24 game
  • In the quarterfinals the winner of the 1-16-17-32 game plays the winner of the 8-9-24-25 game, the winner of the 2-15-18-31 game plays the winner of the 7-10-23-26 game, the winner of the 3-14-19-30 game plays the winner of the 6-11-22-27 game, and the winner of the 4-13-20-29 game plays the winner of the 5-12-21-28 game
  • In the semifinals the winner of the 1-8-9-16-17-24-25-32 game plays the winner of the 4-5-12-13-20-21-28-29 game and the winner of the 2-7-10-15-18-23-26-31 game plays the winner of the 3-6-11-14-19-22-27-30 game
  • Finals are held on the second Saturday of March
