Division I, II, III

• Finals of each division's postseason tournament are held during the first week of March

State

• At the end of the divisional championships 16 teams will qualify for the State tournament: the three divisional champions automatically qualify as well as additional teams with the highest point totals; Point totals include teams' regular season RPI (which is based on strength of schedule and results) plus points earned in the divisional tournaments:
  • Division I tournament wins are worth 0.61 points
  • Division II tournament wins are worth 0.36 points
  • Division III tournament wins are worth 0.22 points

• In the preliminary round: No. 1 plays No. 16, No. 2 plays No. 15, No. 3 plays No. 14, No. 4 plays No. 13, No. 5 plays No. 12, No. 6 plays No. 11, No. 7 plays 10 and No. 8 plays No. 9

• In the quarterfinals: the winner of the 1/16 preliminary round game plays the winner of the 8/9 preliminary game, the winner of the 2/15 preliminary round game plays the winner of the 7/10 preliminary game, the winner of the 3/14 preliminary round game plays the winner of the 6/11 preliminary game, and the winner of the 4/13 preliminary round game plays the winner of the 5/12 preliminary game

• In the semifinals the winner of the 1/8/9/16 game faces the winner of the 4/5/12/13 game while the winner of the 2/7/10/15 game faces the winner of the 3/6/11/14 game

• Finals are held on the second or third weekend of March
