New England Championship Information

New England Council

• Boys Divisional Championships (Division I, II, + III) are held on either the first or second week of February

• The team champion is the team that gathers the most total points from all their individual swimmers competing in all 11 events (top 16 finishers accumulate points for their team; First place in each event garners 20 points and second place receives 17)

• All schools participate in the State Tournament which is held on the Sunday of either the second to last or last week of February

• The team champion is the team that gathers the most total points from all of their individual swimmers competing in the 11 events (the top 16 finishers in each event accumulate points for their team; First place in each event garners 20 points and second place receives 17)

• New England Championships are held on the second Saturday after the State Championships (March 7-13); There is no team scoring
