Girls Ice Hockey Postseason Format

 

 

Division I

  • The top 4 teams in the Emma Division qualify for the Division I postseaosn tournament
  • No. 1 plays No. 4 and No. 2 plays No. 3 in best of three series in which the winner must win two games (So series could go longer than three games if there are ties)
  • The two semifinal winners face off the first week of March for the State championship in a best of three series in which the winner must win two games (So series could go longer than three games if there are ties)

 

Division II

  • The top 4 teams in the DeCosta Division qualify for the Division I postseaosn tournament
  • No. 1 plays No. 4 and No. 2 plays No. 3 in best of three series in which the winner must win two games (So series could go longer than three games if there are ties)
