Notes:

1932-33 until either 1938-39, 1939-40, or 1940-41 there was an RIIL Class B meet in addition to the RIIL Class A Meet and RI State meet. 1939-40, 1940-41, or 1941-42 until 1944-45 there was a RI State Class B meet held after the RIIL Class B meet (in addition to the RI State Class A meet and RIIL Class A meet). Because the RIIL recognized the RIIL Class B meet as its championship and not the RI State Class B meet from 1933-1945, the RIIL Class B meet champions are listed here. The RI State Class B meet ceased to exist in either 1939-40, 1940-41, or 1941-42 but the RIIL Class B meet continued.

1956-57 to 1959-60 there was no Class B Meet

1985-86 until 2000-01 called Suburban B (or Suburban)

Renamed Class B in 2001-02
